Yes.

I wonder what my life would look like if I said "Yes, Lord!" whenever I sensed God asking me to do something.

Anything.

He'd never embarrass me. Never set me up for failure. Though I may (and have before) gotten the message all muddled up. Didn't follow through. Got in the way. Got stubborn.

So, today, as I set out to go about the business of my day (focusing on studying all day, then teaching tonight), I will do so with a wholehearted "Yes!" in my spirit.

Yes, Lord.

No matter what the question?

  1. Hi Adele.
Ek wonder soms of dit so eenvoudig is...vra Hy nie juis soms dat ons terwille van hom verleentheid , vernedering moet verduur nie.? twe wille van Sy Eer of ons heiligmaking dalk....

  2. Lalie, ek verstaan jou punt. Maar daar's 'n verskil tussen verleentheid verduur ter wille van die Here, en dat die Here jou in die verleentheid stel. Lg. is nie in sy aard nie, glo ek. Wat dink jy?

  3. Hi Adele,ek hoor jou , daar is 'n verskil. Ek het nou sit en dink daaroor en oa aan David en hoe hy in die verleentheid was , maar as ek mooi dink is dit sy sonde wat uitgewys is wat einklik die verleentheid was.
God se aard is sekerlik Liefde.

Groei is nie noodwendig altyd 'n aangename proses nie.
